Short-range THz Channel Measurement and Analysis About Diffraction in Indoor Propagation Channels

This article presents a short-range THz channel measurement result covering 285GHz − 315GHz. We modeled a short-range THz channel path loss based on measurements. The edge diffraction phenomenon is measured and analyzed, and the effect of thin plate structure on the electromagnetic diffraction in the THz band is modeled and analyzed with the path loss model combined. The effect of thin plate obscuration on the line of sight (Los) path of shot-range THz channel is also measured and analyzed, and finally the effect of human hand on the short-range THz channel is measured and studied.
