A Modular Design System to Support User-Defined Turret Tool Holders and Feed Systems

This paper proposes an effective system to support the modularization of turret tool holders and feed systems designed by users themselves. The basic idea of the modular design method of turret tool holder and feed system is to divide the modules with relatively independent functions and standard components of input and output on the basis of functional analysis of different functions or lathes with the same function, different performance and different specifications within a certain range. The components here, generally include combinations and parts, etc. Through the selection and combination of modules to constitute different customized products to meet the different needs of the market.
