Analysis of the operation of charging stations with the support of accumulation and photovoltaic system in the Czech Republic

The concept of a hybrid system (HS) with supporting storage which is used to ensure the feeding of electric vehicles (EVs) charging stations has been proposed in connection with the trend of electro mobility development in Czech Republic (CR) and the related development of charging stations. The paper will present the concept of a hybrid power system with additional energy storage to support EVs charging stations. The proposed concept has been extended to include a photovoltaic (PV) source and the final design concept starts from the assumed exploitation of a HS for the feeding of charging stations. The energy is taken from the storage system as the primary source, while the electricity grid (EG) is used, above all, as a supplementary source for of charging up the storage system.
