Manganese concentration effect on spectral properties of lithium-zinc-germanate glass-ceramics

The spectral properties of lithium-zinc-germanate glass-ceramics doped with different manganese content are investigated. Luminescence spectra contain two bands at 670 and 535 nm corresponding to Mn
⁴
+ and Mn
²
+ ions. The maximum quantum yield value of red luminescence is 47

for glass-ceramics with 0.05 mol.% MnO
2
.
