The criterion for accounting for stimulated nonlinear scatterings in the development of optical schemes of high-power single-mode fiber lasers

The paper proposes a new approach to fixing the threshold for stimulated nonlinear scattering in active and passive optical fibers. In the approach, it is proposed to fix the power of the Stokes component at a certain criterion level, whi ch makes it possible to determine the threshold values of the primary radiation powers, which characterize the expected manifestation of stimulated nonlinear scattering, in a convenient way from the applied point of view. Verification of the obtained expressions is given.
