Temperature stabilization of an Er:fiber-based femtosecond frequency comb

An effect of temperature changes in individual parts of a Er:fiber-based femtosecond frequency comb on the parameters of its offset frequency
$f_{0}$
is determined. A system for thermal stabilization of air inside the frequency comb has been implemented. As a result, temperature fluctuations inside the frequency comb decreased from ∼0.7°C to ∼0.1°C, inside the master Er:fiber laser - from 0.1 to 0.01 °C. This led to a significant decrease in the drift of the amplitude and frequency of the signal
$f_{0}$
in the free regime of operation (without stabilization the frequency comb to the frequency of the optical standard).
