Research and Implementation of Birds and Floating Objects Target Detection Technology in Transmission Lines

The transmission line environment is diverse and complex. Floating objects and birds account for a high proportion of transmission line failures. These two kinds of intrusions will cause line tripping, external force damage and other hazards. It is necessary to patrol and monitor them to ensure the safety of transmission lines. In this paper, the target detection technology of floating objects and birds is studied. According to the different types of intrusions and environmental background, combined with Gaussian background modeling and deep learning algorithm based on YOLO, the target detection algorithm based on deep learning is studied to realize the accurate detection and positioning of transmission line intrusions in complex scenes.
