ScaleMoM: a mobile multicast scheme and its performance analysis

The mobile Internet is the trend for the next generation networks and mobile multicast is one of the key technologies in it. This paper presents a mobile multicast scheme which combines inter multicast routing and intra multicast routing to construct a hierarchy multicast tree. This scheme can reduce multicast tree maintenance overhead while transfering packet in optimal routes with scalability. The good performance of this scheme is analyzed with mathematics.
