Cloud based Personal Health Record Management System and Medical Recommender System

The personal health record system is crucial in the deployment of electronic health records (Electronic Health Record). The usage of EHR is encouraged by PHR because it reduces the need for the doctor to start from scratch when establishing a record, which saves time. A patient’s basic information such as demographics, known allergies, medical history, family medical history, test results, and so on may be collected via the use of a personal health record (PHR). In contrast, previously unavailable personal health records (PHRs) have suddenly become public, enabling people to approach hospitals they have never attended before without fear of interoperability. The main objectives of this project are: To store Patient Health records and to manage PHR by using Amazon Cloud and generate hospital recommendations to the patient by using Item-based Collaborative Filtering. The proposed research study has designed and developed a web application for the Patient Health Record [PHR] management system for the patients and used PHP as the backend language and Amazon MySql database to store the data in the cloud. Based on the data obtained from the user, the hospitals will be recommended to the user based on the ratings given by the user through an item-based collaborative filtering algorithm.
