Power grid optimal dispatching strategy considering carbon trading mechanism

With the continuous development of global low-carbon economy, China's power grid dispatching also needs to meet the requirements of low-carbon development. The introduction of low-carbon elements will bring new problems and challenges to the traditional power dispatching methods. In addition to considering safety and economy, we should also pay more attention to the CO2 emission in the operation of power system. This paper deeply analyzes the background and connotation of low-carbon power dispatching, and defines a scientific and efficient low-carbon power dispatching mode; The technical characteristics of various low-carbon power sources are studied, and the electric carbon scheduling characteristics of three different power sources are established: near zero carbon emission power source, ordinary fossil fuel power source and carbon capture power plant; Taking CO2 emissions as a kind of schedulable resources, a preliminary model of low-carbon power dispatching decision-making is established based on the comprehensive consideration of low-carbon power technology, carbon cost and carbon constraints, so as to coordinate the “power balance” and “carbon balance” in power dispatching. This paper summarizes and analyzes the decision-making model, model construction elements and various algorithms of low-carbon power dispatching.
