Research on the Optimization of Shielding of the Equipment Compartment under the High-speed Train

This paper mainly studies the radiation emission characteristics of EMU and the optimization of the shielding of equipment under the train of EMU. First of all, This paper analyzes the previous research work, it is necessary to optimize the shielding of the equipment compartment under the high-speed train. According to the actual size of the equipment compartment, the simulation model including the skirt and the aperture is established, and the effects of different aperture size and air grid lengths on the shielding efficiency of equipment layer are studied respectively. Therefore, an optimization scheme is proposed to reduce the radiation emission level of the entire high-speed Electric Multiple Units (EMU).
