Unmanned Inspection System of Substation based on Multi-Dimensional Perception Robot

With the rapid development of power companies, substations have transformed to a highly automated direction to meet the needs of inspections. In our country's power system, the substation inspection work has always been manual inspection. However, due to the high intensity of inspection tasks, the work efficiency is not high. Therefore, it is particularly important to develop an unmanned inspection system for substations to handle the inspection work. Based on the characteristics of multi-dimensional sensing robots that can perceive the environment, this paper uses artificial intelligence and information communication technology to design an unmanned inspection system for substations that can be applied to power companies. After the system design is completed, the performance of the system is tested to confirm that the system can effectively find the fault information of the power equipment during the unmanned inspection process, help the inspectors to repair the equipment, reduce their work intensity, and open the intelligent substation unmanned inspection mode.
