Safe Driving Assistance Systems Based on Image Recognition and Multi-Sensor Fusion

As cars are now used by every household, accidents caused by dangerous driving behavior are common. Thus, we aim to design an intelligent driver safety assistance system that monitors the driver's health status including heart rate, blood oxygen level, and body temperature, as well as detecting whether the driver has been drinking before driving. Monitoring the driver's mental state and whether they are talking on the phone, smoking, or yawning at all times while driving is also realized. In case of dangerous behavior, the system immediately notifies the driver's family and the relevant authorities to inform the driver's location in order to prevent accidents.
