This algorithm uses sparseness of the weights of the adaptive equalizer in underwater acoustic channel, the weight calculation process of equalizer is transformed into sparse recovery problem. -norm. The simulation results show that compared with traditional equalization method, it can obtain about 3dB bit error rate gain, and has faster convergence speed compared with similar sparse equalization methods.
