A Nomographic Tool for Evaluating The Hosting Capacity of Photovoltaic Systems

The proliferation of solar photovoltaic generation in low-voltage distribution networks has resulted in a series of challenges in the operation and control of the network. The rise in voltage and current from the solar photovoltaic system has become the main concern for low-voltage grids. Along with this, there is a growing need for generic equipment. Furthermore, utilities can use to handle customer demands for new solar Photovoltaic connections. This paper proposes a generic approach to assessing solar photovoltaic hosting capacity subject to overvoltage restriction.
