Evaluation of the Life Cycle of a Hydropower Plant

In recent years, there has been a strong search for ways to upgrade and methods to extend the service life of operating power plants. The reason is the aging of a significant part of the equipment built in the last century, when there was a high rate of growth in the need for new capacity. Today, these rates have significantly decreased and the increase in electricity production is achieved mainly due to the intensification of the use and improvement of the methods of operation of power plants. The main efforts of energy companies are aimed at extending the service life of equipment. The article discusses a methodology for life cycle analysis of a hydropower plant.
