Wiener Filter based Predictive Control of Wind Turbine

In this paper stochastic control algorithms for wind turbine generators based on Wiener filter theory are explored. The classical approach is extended to extrapolation of the input signal and controller design by taking into account functional constraints involving by the plant model. The continuous and the discrete controller design is presented. The system performance is analysed in the frequency domain under variable wind speed.
