Applying Free and Open-Source Tools in Microcontroller Laboratory Classes

The paper summarizes the application of laboratory equipment created using open-source hardware in the education of electronics students. Two design projects are presented applying Arduino development platform. They implement widely used and inexpensive modules, which together with the affordable Arduino makes them suitable to be used in the learning process.
