Efficiency of the method of separation of variables for analyzing the influence of external body of isotropic and bi-isotropic material on homogeneous electric field generated using two toroidal electrodes

The aim of this paper is to determine the extent to which the method of separation of variables and Wolfram Mathematica are useful for illustrating electric equipotential and field distribution lines in the cross section of a system consisting of two thin toroidal electrodes and an external spherical body of arbitrary radius. We observe bodies of bi-isotropic material of Tellegen type and isotropic dielectric, placed in the centre of the observed system.
