LADRC Design Based on Disturbance Response Specification for the Second Order Plant

This article describes the linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) for the second–order plant mathematical model based on the disturbance response specification of a closed–loop system. The relationship between the plant output and the disturbance is clarified before the disturbance response peak is calculated. The LADRC parameters can be uniquely decided by comparing the coefficients of the low–dimensional transfer function with those of a second–order normative model. The effectiveness of the LADRC method for the second–order plant is confirmed by performing numerical simulations and comparing their results with those of the conventional PID control.
