A Miniaturized Broadband High-performance RFID_tag

In this paper, a broadband high-performance UHF frequency band tag antenna based on miniaturization technology is proposed. The current path on the dipole antenna has been changed to achieve the miniaturization of the antenna, finally enhance the antenna's bending resistance. The two arms extending from the tapered area near the feed point are tuned with a metal copper pillar, which allows the bandwidth of the antenna to be widened. The method of widening the bandwidth greatly improves the anti – medium ability of the tag antenna. The final tag antenna has 2.03dBi antenna gain in the band of 902Mhz $\sim 928$ Mhz, and a bandwidth of 66% ($\mathrm{S}11\lt-10$dB), while the antenna size is reduced by 53%. After processing and testing, the tag antenna can work on surfaces of water, biological tissue, metal, etc. And it has good anti-deformation characteristics, achieves the expected effect, and is in good agreement with the simulation results.
