Performance Analysis of SSPP based Wideband High Gain End-fire Antenna

This letter proposes a novel end-fire antenna based on spoof surface plasmon polaritons (SSPPs). Because of the high frequency, the SSPP waveguide excites the antenna's main radiator. The SSPP waveguide's transmission performance, which is realised by etching on the metal a pattern of corrugated grooves at regular intervals strip. Very good impedance match is given when quasi tem is converted to the SSP mode in which the grooves are changed to next level in the microstrip line. In the bottom side of the antenna a metal or we can say a metal sheet which is U in shape is placed so that the front to back ratio can be improved. The end-fire antenna's directors are made of three printed metal strips, which improve the directivity. A simulation of end-fire antenna is done in this paper. Gain of antenna is around 6dBi at 7 giga hertz of frequency .low energy loss,, higher band, higher gain ,easy to construct and smaller size are some of advantages of this antenna.
