Reliability Concern of IoT Based Monitoring Systems

IoT based Monitoring Systems are getting much attention today almost in all sectors like Engineering, Medical, Transportation, Agricultural etc. Monitoring systems are integrated to ensure more security to the systems under vigilance. Hence, ensuring high reliability of such system is utmost required. It is well known that, IoT monitoring system execute its function, when following subsystems like sensor, converters, micro controllers, actuators, communication systems and associated devices perfectly work together. Here, authors want to showcase the various reliability concerns and challenges of such systems. Also it is extended to model the reliability of subcomponents based on its functional responsibility.
