Enterprise State Roaming and OneDrive for Business

This chapter accomplishes two main goals: (1) Enable our users' state to roam with us between devices. (2) Take our users' existing files and stick them in somewhere. If only you had…one…drive…that you could place things in. Much of OneDrive client management is done through Group Policy. To do this, you'll need to grab the latest OneDrive ADMX files and put them in your Group Policy store: Central Store or Local Store (Central Store recommended). and find the download (or reinstall) for Windows 10. OneDrive Team Site Automount works perfectly well on‐prem with Group Policy and perfectly well with non‐domain‐joined machines. When you feed the Windows computer the list of libraries, any kind of computer can use the libraries as drive map replacements.
