This is the sixth in our Microwave Pioneer series in which we are privileged to provide our readers with a very special subject: current IEEE President K. J. Ray Liu. Professor Liu's inclusion in this series is not due to his position as leader of the IEEE, but rather to his influence and leadership in the field of indoor surveillance and tracking using microwaves.
