Relative Navigation and Joint Control of Aerospace Plane and Ekranoplane for the Purpose of Their Docking

The current state and plans for the development and construction of heavy ekranoplanes of a new generation in Russia are analyzed. The problems of navigation and flight control of ekranoplanes of different sizes are formulated, which require solution. A comparison is made of the possible costs for the construction of large ekranoplanes, the effectiveness of their possible use in assisting the horizontal takeoff and landing of an aerospace aircraft is evaluated. Variants of docking and undocking of two indicated wing vehicles near the surface are considered.
