On Stabilization of Bounded Trajectories of a Spacecraft with a Solar Sail near an Unstable Libration Point

In this paper, we establish that keeping of a spacecraft with a solar sail near the unstable triangular libration point of a binary or contact-binary asteroid is possible for a manifold of initial conditions. We present an algorithm of the solar sail orientation control that stabilizes the corresponded bounded motions in linear approximation. We discuss the algorithm modification that allows the spacecraft both to approach the libration point and to move away from it.
