Dimensional Reduction of Optimal Tracking Problems with a Given Reference Trajectory

We consider the problem of optimal tracking with a given reference trajectory in the presence of singular perturbations. To analyze the matrix differential equations arising in solving this problem the decomposition method is applied, which is based on the technique integral manifolds of fast and slow motions.
