Abstract:
Non-destructive testing of crystalline materials is an important task for optical instrumentation, industry, and computer engineering. Timely detection of defects in their internal structure determines the efficiency and safety of various devices and systems. Development of the methods for non-contact analysis of the internal structure of crystals is an important and urgent task. In this study, we propose to apply acousto-optical hyperspectral imaging of crystal’s structure. We developed an experimental setup and measured a spatial distribution of transmittance spectra across the sample made of triglycine sulfate in the wavelength range 0.9-1.7 µm in the absence and presence of external load.
