Analysis of Cycling Experience, Overconfidence and Risky Behavior of College E-bike Riders—Based on Structural Equation Modeling

Recently, traffic accidents caused bye-bikes have grown year by year. As sharing economy booming, e-bikes were both more accessible and available to college students. The study aimed at constructing the psychological model of college students' cycling accident characteristics, and compare the danger degree of different mindsets. The survey looked at nearly a thousand e-bike riders in Fuzhou University Town, and 817 valid questionnaires were obtained. Besides, the structural equation model was applied to compare the differences in mentality and behavior of college students with different cycling experience and genders. The conclusion of differentiation analysis of different types of riders in this study has certain reference value for the study of e-bike safety.
