Blood Pressure Measurement and Signal Analysis: Impact on Measurement Error

The heart pumps blood throughout the body with a force that pushes the blood against the walls of arteries, causing blood pressure. Blood pressure measurement is necessary for hypertension research, diagnosis, and therapy, as well as measurement decisions that influence treatment strategies for a variety of diseases. This study looks at the inaccuracies that can occur while measuring blood pressure, as well as how these flaws can be addressed to build more accurate devices in a variety of ways. To write this review, we collected 33 different studies. The study provides strategic recommendations on how to improve blood pressure devices by applying various algorithms and analyzing the factors that influence the quality of BP readings.
