Analyzing parameters in 3D reconstruction photogrammetry in Meshroom, a case study

3D reconstruction is widely used in practice and many methods and software exists. Its performance in terms of quality and time of processing are very important. In this paper the performance of 3D object reconstruction will be evaluated regarding different number of source photos. The aim of the paper is the reconstruction of 3D models based on photogrammetry keeping a minimum execution time and highest possible visual quality. Performance parameters taken in consideration are reprojection-residuals, number of landmark, observation scale, time of processing, RMSE.
