Abstract:

Actual Modbus IoT (Internet of Things) sensors are connected via Modbus Serial RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) RS-485 protocol to 4G/3G/2G routers, and via 4G/3G/2G mobile network to the first 4G/3G/2G router connected via Modbus TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) Ethernet protocol to the first computer (server) with Modbus acquisition software. The complete system development was also made with simulated Modbus sensors made of PCs with Modbus simulation software and USB (Universal Serial Bus) to RS-485 converters.
