A Novel IoT Based Sample Collection Method for Baby Meconium Aspiration Syndrome and Analyzing Suction Pressure of the System

A novel IoT-based Sampling of Meconium fluid extraction from the newly born baby during a lifesaving attempt the sample collection method is proposed for expert diagnosis and prompt medication. Which is of paramount importance for identifying seriousness status of the newborn baby. A comprehensive analysis of the Force Sensing Resister and Barometric Pressure sensor is used for the measurement of negative air pressure concerning normal atmospheric pressure in terms of sensor response speed for the baby meconium extraction system. The existing digital Barometric Pressure Sensor provides pressure information in the terms of digital data, which has a limitation of response speed. This limitation is addressed in this paper by modifying the Force sensing resistor for air pressure detection. An innovative air pressure sensor is designed using Force Sensing Resistor. Force Sensing Resistor provides analog voltage signal proportional to air pressure using voltage divider circuit, which is quite fast as compared to the digital pressure sensor. This sensor is designed to detect negative air pressure for the baby's meconium extraction mechanism. A novel indigenous negative air pressure sensor is fabricated, which is affordable and easy to use. The device was tested and the results are satisfactory. Magnetic Flow Meters create obstruction less flow of meconium and the viscosity sensor enables continuous monitoring of meconium viscosity. This endeavor will save the precious life of the newborn baby since information is input to the doctor and prompt action is initiated.
