Data collection in the learning behavior analysis: A systematic review

Data collection is the most crucial step in scientific research, and the quality of the collected data determines the success or failure of the research, therefore, learning behavior analysis is no exception. With the development of big data mining technology, learning analytics has received great attention. As one of the important branches, data mining technology provides great opportunities for learning behavior analysis. In this paper, we collect 448 articles through the web of science and use the key clustering analysis and citation bursting analysis to explore the core issues and research frontiers of the study, to identify the current status and development of data collection in learning behavior analysis, as well as to examine the relationship between data collection and learning behavior analysis. As a result, 9 core clusters including learning intention were found to exist, and 5 keywords with the strongest citation highlighting were also obtained.
