Wave Propagation Analysis by Using the Three-dimensional ADD-based Two-Way Parabolic Equation Method

In this paper, A new alternating direction decomposition(ADD) solution method is used for the split-step Fourier algorithm of the parabolic equation. The diffraction term factor is approximately decomposed into three independent items, so as to reduce the dimension of the solution space, and realize the simplification of the split-step Fourier transform method in the parabolic equation model. In addition, a three-dimensional two-way parabolic equation(3D-2WPE) is derived to model both backward and forward propagation of the single edge peak.
