Missing Wind Speed Imputation Research for Wind Farm Considering Wake Effect

The big data platform of wind farms is the foundation for the safe and economic operation of wind turbines. In this paper, the problem of missing wind speed data due to the instability in data transmission of the wind farm system is studied. First, mathematically characterize the wake effect based on the layout of wind turbines and impute the spatial missing wind speed. Second, obtain the temporal missing wind speed data considering the temporal features of a single wind turbine. Finally, design the weighted strategy to combine spatial and temporal imputations to output the final imputation results. The missing value imputation scheme considering the wake effect and time sequence correlation has proven better precision through validation experiments.
