A CMF Design Method of Smart Jewelry Based on Kansei Engineering and KANO Model

The combination of smart wearable technology and jewelry promotes the birth of smart jewelry, and the styles of smart jewelry are more diverse. At present, the design of smart jewelry is mainly based on the personal design style of designers, and there is a lack of design methods to analyze from the perspective of user needs. Based on Kansei Engineering and KANO Model, through the investigation and analysis of product function demand and market development status, using questionnaire survey method to screen and quantify the emotional tendency of users, select and extract CMF design elements of intelligent jewelry. Through the analysis, induction and integration of the screening results, the extracted color, material and technology are combined. The experiment shows that, on the basis of practicality, aesthetics and rationality, the method in this paper can conduct better CMF design research on smart jewelry from the perspective of the target population and the optimization of user experience.
