Principal Component Analysis of VHO parameters

In this research article, we have designed an algorithm for Vertical Handover (VHO) based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA).Vertical Handover is extremely important in designing & dimensioning the network. In practical scenarios, it is very difficult to monitor the various parameters of Vertical Handover (VHO) as it puts a lot of load in the system. Thus in order to reduce the load we have designed an algorithm for network selection using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) which reduces multi-dimensional data into one dimensional data. The main parameters taken into consideration are Received Signal Strength (RSS), Bandwidth, Cost and Velocity of the user.
