Museum of One Computer

The article proposes the idea of the Museum of one Computer (MoC). MoC can be implemented both as a separate museum and as an autonomous exhibit in a big museum of science and technology. MoC focuses on a single specimen chosen as a representative of a given technology field, computer science in our case. As a concept, MoC combines and reconciles the existence of both large, institutional museums, and small initiatives build around private collections and driven by enthusiasts. The MoC concept can also be applied in the design of museums devoted to the history and the technology of other kind of machinery.
