The history of the introduction of digital competencies among students studying in the direction of “State and Municipal Management”

The large-scale introduction of modern information and communications technologies in various spheres of the Company’s vital activity has made relevant new requirements for state civil servants. Since it is the civil servant who has to interact with the population. All this encourages developing new approaches to the preparation of civil servants on the basis of a competence approach, which makes it possible to formulate the necessary skills, including digital. The article provides an analysis of how the transition to the distance form of training influenced the formation of digital competencies in students learning in the direction of “State and Municipal Management” and what difficulties arose at this transition.
