Electrical Engineering in Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University in 19th-20th Centuries

The paper describes the role of Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University as the first in Russia school of higher education in Electrical Engineering. The brief history of the University is described, the input of its academics and alumni in the development of theory and practice of Electrical Engineering in Russia is presented.
