Amplitude-Frequency Characteristic of a MIEC-based Filter for DC/DC Converters

The previous article explored the possibility of using a multifunctional integrated electromagnetic component (MIEC) as an LC filter for DC / DC converters. It was found that, with similar inductances and capacities, the MIEC-based filter compensates well for high-frequency ripples arising from the operation of semiconductor transistors as switches. This article continues the previous one, and the purpose of the research is to construct the amplitude-frequency characteristic of the MIEC. At the same time, an analytical formula will be obtained for one-section MIEC using the theory of four-terminal networks and their connections. Also, the obtained analytical results will be checked using the MatLab Simulink software package, and also refined by taking into account the influence of the mutual induction of the MIEC plates.
