Information-Measuring System of Liquid Viscosity by Stokes Method

The information-measuring system for determining the viscosity of liquids by the Stokes method is described, which calculates the dynamic and kinematic viscosity, the density and the temperature of a liquid. The information-measuring system consists of the viscometer and the software for processing the results of liquids viscosity. The knowledge base has been implemented with reference values of viscosity and density, which makes recommendations to a user after taking measurements about the state of the specimen. To test the developed information-measuring system, the measurements of the viscosity of water and edible oil with positive temperatures were carried out.
