Adjusting Characteristics of the Engine with Multifunctional Massive Rotor

The article studies the engine with a multifunctional massive rotor, consisting of an electric motor stator and a massive rotor. It performs the function of a drum, which is a working body of a separator. The article presents a mathematical model of the engine with a multifunctional massive rotor based on differential equations. It considers the expressions for the resistance and inertia moments of the engine with a multifunctional massive rotor. These expressions contain variables that take into account the geometric features of the moving elements of the engine with a multifunctional massive rotor, as well as changes in the composition of the multiphase separated product. This mathematical model was designed in the MATLAB Simulink software package and allows to take into account the following parameters: the influence of network voltage parameters (supply voltage amplitude; supply voltage frequency; degree of the sinusoidal shape distortion of the supply voltage curve by higher voltage harmonics, for example, by the fifth or seventh ones); changes in resistance and inertia moments created by the separated product to the currents of the stator and rotor; the electromagnetic torque of the engine with a multifunctional massive rotor as well as its the speed.
