Efficient AC Machine Control

The method for solving an electric drive effective control problems through the example of a generalized electric machine was considered. A multicriteria approach to the formation of an electromagnetic moment is considered using the functions of the energy state. The control problem of providing the best combination of dynamic and energy properties of an electric drive under conditions of a given limitation of the voltage supplied to the motor windings was formalized and shown by the relationship between the power and energy characteristics of an electric machine. The arguments of the presented relationships are the values characterizing the positions of the vectors, which allow to extend obtained results to other types of ac machines. Losses in steel and saturation of the magnetic system of the motor were taken into consideration. The intensity of energy conversion processes was increased by system acceleration - the voltage and power supplied to the motor windings augmented. The conditions for changing the state of an electric machine in a minimum time with a limitation of the power supplied to the motor windings are determined by the Euler - Lagrange method. The quality criterion is time. Depending on the arguments characterizing the position of the vectors in accordance with the requirements of multi-criteria optimization, an estimate of the magnitude and efficiency of using the voltage supplied to the motor windings is shown.
