A Bio- Toilet attached wheelchair for physically disabled persons: An Automated Robust System

Physically challenged people have a tough time excreting on their own, and they require a continual support by someone to help them dispose of the waste. A special mechanism is needed for the physically challenged people to make them comfortable during the excretion. Managing the human waste for storage and disposal is a serious challenge as the support developed will be expected to be mobile or attached the patient. Currently, f or public usage, Indian railways have installed a Bio-toilet system. It uses no water and has microorganisms in the biodigestor tank that converts human waste into methane gas and water. This prevents rubbish from being dumped on open railway lines, which causes environmental difficulties as well as track rusting. A similar environment friendly biotoilet with additional features that can help physically challenged people, that can be installed under the wheelchair of physically challenged people for quick and easy disposal is proposed.
