Hybrid Dual Axis Solar Tracker with 3 level DC to DC Boost Converter with GSS based Power Tracking

The ability of a Photovoltaic panel to produce energy hugely depends on the amount of Sunlight falling on the Panel. The interface of the Solar panel with the load is done with DC to DC Converters to avail the Output. A Dual Axis based Solar Tracker along with a three level DC to DC Converter is proposed and designed in this Paper. Whenever the Climatic condition tends to change and also the load changes, these converters must match the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technique. Hence to obtain the maximum available Power we use the Golden Section Search (GSS) Algorithm in the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) along with Microcontroller and also the three level DC to DC Converter will gain a high Voltage Transfer. This method is preferred for small range inductors with good efficiency. Detailed Simulation of Dual Axis based PV System with Three level DC to DC boost Converter is modelled using Matlab\Proteus tool. The Proposed System will suit as a Solution for PV Generating System and as a Result of the Simulation the PV System will provide Conversion Efficiency of about 95% and enhanced its Performance.
