Prevention of Fiber Optic Cable from Breakout using Ardunio

Frequent fiber cut is a serious problem being faced by Telecom Industry and it is leading to their service poor. As we saw many times during road construction that fiber or cable gets cut. This proposed work focuses on a hardware device that will keep inside the ground and besides cable and it will help to avoid underground cable cut. This device consists of Arduino Uno, a SIM800A GSM module, and a Sound sensor module. Existing solutions are regarding this, but they work after cable gets cut or damaged which is not effective enough. This work aimed to implement a hardware device that will send a message to the authorized person, also stop construction at a location that is digging the road by firing an alarm. It works on the noise of Jack Hammer without using the internet or Wi-Fi module. This proposed work has successfully overcome the problem of frequent fiber cut which occurs during the construction of the road.
