Vision for Space-Air-Ground Integrated Radar Network

Confronting with new challenges including new threats, new resource constraints and new environment, one single radar, one radar platform or radar netting system will face the risk of decrease in overall detection efficiency. Hence, a novel Space-Air-Ground Integrated Radar Network (SAGIRN) is proposed in this paper based on collaborative Cloud-Edge- Terminal (CET) architecture. SAGIRN has several inherent features including All-Domain Integration, CET Collaboration, Dynamic SoS Reconfiguration, Menu-type Solution Matching, Smart Processing in Real Time and Iterative Evolution, and can efficiently integrate all kinds of battlefield radar resources to achieve global coverage, real-time response, optimal detection, flexible survivability, sense-to-decision-making in the whole battlefield or in a specific area.
